League Lite is an ongoing monthly virtual get together. At League Lite gatherings we hear from each participant & get to know them, address upcoming items of local and/or national interest, promote individual actions or commitments, better understand the League & review upcoming events.
Details:
1. Share our thoughts on the importance of preserving actual history as it is currently deing discredited, discouraged, made illegal & actually eliminated from archives, libraries, schools, institutions of higher learning & other repositories.
2. Our intentional personal & communal plans to commemorate the MLK, Jr. national holiday and February as Black History Month, especially if we have not done so in the past.
3. Share a personal interest, question, concern or general appreciation.
4. Getting to know each other.
5. Better understanding the LWV-SHR.
