Suffolk has one early voting site, the Registrar’s office, and no satellite sites for the April 21st election. It has three drop boxes which are available 24 hours per day.

2026 Precinct Changes

NANSEMOND BOROUGH: Huntersville precinct will move from VMAS Center, 1030 University Blvd, Suffolk, 23435 to Fire Station Number 11, 6842 Hampton Roads Parkway, Suffolk, 23435.

Early, in-person voting period:

  • Starting Friday, March 6, 2026 through Saturday, April 18, 2026. Voting takes place during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Voting hours are extended until 5 p.m. on April 11th, 14th, and 18th.
  • Saturday voting will take place on Saturday, April 11th and April 18th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. April 18, 2026 will be the last day for early, in-person voting.

Ballot Drop Off Locations

ON OR BEFORE ELECTION DAY: Ballots can be dropped off at one of the three official ballot drop boxes listed below. Please note that all ballot drop boxes are under constant video surveillance.

WHERE TO TAKE YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT ON ELECTION DAY 

On Election Day: In addition to the ballot drop box locations noted above, a ballot drop box (Blue Canvas Bag) will be located inside each polling precinct from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. You may also drop your ballot off in person at the Voter Registration Office.  You will need to show identification if handing in a ballot in-person.
