DESCRIPTION:Disability Voting Rights Week Is Sept. 14-18 in 2026. \nPeop
 le with disabilities used to encounter insurmountable barriers to partic
 ipation in elections. The ADA and subsequent voting laws began to requir
 e accommodations so that people with disabilities could vote\, but ensur
 ing accessibility requires ongoing effort. Voting power is especially cr
 itical for members of the disability community because they are uniquely
  impacted by legislation that addresses much of their daily lives.   Ca
 rolyn Caywood from LWVSHR will share information to empower voters with
