 pation in elections. The ADA and subsequent voting laws began to require
  accommodations so that people with disabilities could vote\, but ensuri
 ng accessibility requires ongoing effort. Voting power is especially cri
 tical for members of the disability community because they are uniquely 
 impacted by legislation that addresses much of their daily lives.   Car
